Financial Aid for U.S. Students

Massey University participates in the Direct Loan Programme. This allows American citizens and eligible non-citizens to access some U.S. Federal student loans while studying towards your degree at Massey University.

The U.S. Department of Education provides a number of services to support U.S. students to receive financial aid in International schools. The following pages provide information specific to Financial Aid at Massey University, along with links to generic information about Financial Aid.

If you are new to Financial Aid, have previously received loans under the FFEL programme, or have loans from a previous school you attended, you can find more information and advice on how to manage your loans:

At Massey University we place a lot of emphasis on the personal approach and endeavour to ensure that everything will run smoothly for you. Financial Aid can be a bewildering process and you are always welcome to call in to the Office or email the Financial Aid Administrator for direct assistance.

Study Abroad at Massey

If you are a US student who is attending Massey University on the Study Abroad programme, please apply for Financial Aid through your home university and NOT through Massey University.  your home university will then send us a consortium agreement to sign to confirm that we are not providing you with aid.
